    ANHSS

Asia Network for Capacity Building in Health Systems Strengthening (ANHSS) was launched with the support of the World Bank Institute (WBI) during the world conference of the International Health Economics Association (iHEA) in Beijing in July 2009. With the understanding that the policy makers constantly require knowledge related to theoretical frameworks to help them think about policies analytically and time-sensitive information assistance to help address strategic and implementation challenges, ANHSS operates with the idea of assisting the governments in the region to share experiences and lessons and offer in-depth knowledge and practical skills training in the various areas of health systems strengthening. This network is the collaboration among nine national institutions and WBI. Link to ANHSS http://www.anhss.org/index.html

    GNHE

Established in 2011, the Global Network for Health Equity (GNHE) brings together three regional networks, namely the Strategies for Health Insurance for Equity in Less Developed Countries (SHIELD), Equity in Asia-Pacific Health Systems (EQUITAP), and the Latin American Research Network on Financial Protection (LANET), all with expertise in research, capacity building and policy outreach in health equity, health financing and health delivery to strengthen the opportunities and platforms for researchers from the low and middle income countries. IHP coordinates the network participation in the Asia Pacific region in GNHE.
