ANHSS Asia Network for Capacity Building in Health Systems Strengthening (ANHSS) was launched with the support of the World Bank Institute (WBI) during the world conference of the International Health Economics Association (iHEA) in Beijing in July 2009. With the understanding that the policy makers constantly require knowledge related to theoretical frameworks to help them think about policies analytically and time-sensitive information assistance to help address strategic and implementation challenges, ANHSS operates with the idea of assisting the governments in the region to share experiences and lessons and offer in-depth knowledge and practical skills training in the various areas of health systems strengthening. This network is the collaboration among nine national institutions and WBI.
